    We welcome you to the third international biennial 'Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology Meeting' in Ostrava. The symposium will be held at VŠB–TU of Ostrava, the symposium has been organized under cooperation of scientists from the Nanotechnology Centre, and Institute of Geonics AS CR. Partners for the meeting are Czech Chemical Society and Czech Clay Group.

    The meeting is a platform to facilitate open discussions between scientists, students and representatives from companies with a vested interest in furthering the development of nanomaterials and nanotechnology.

    There will be several sessions, where invited lectureres and presenters from the industry who will focus on areas of importance to nanomaterials and nanotechnology.

    The City of Ostrava is the third largest city in the Czech Republic, it is Green City with forested areas located in the eastern and southern parts of the city, low laying meadows along the River Odra, large parks, tree-lined avenues and alleys.
